Hi,

My name is Craig Ireland and I have the most amazing privilege of serving our Risen Lord, as the Pastor of Hope Christian Church. My wife and I first began holding services on Sunday 14th of September 2008.

Formerly we served as youth Pastors of a ministry called High Voltage Youth. Following that, after some months in itinerant ministry and missions work, we embarked on this exciting venture to pioneer a brand new church.

Our first Sunday saw half a dozen people in attendance and we have grown steadily from there. I love leading such a faithful, passionate group of God’s people and have enjoyed the journey thus far, counting it a high privilege.

I am also constantly involved in missions work. I conduct mission trips several times a year visiting such places as Thailand, The Philippines, Cambodia, Burma, Malaysia, The Solomon Islands as well as ministry trips to the USA and other parts of the western world. We have planned trips in the future to Vietnam, Japan and Taiwan. Personally speaking...

I have been a Christian for about 10 years and have been married to my beautiful wife for 6½ years.

I am a born and bred Australian and love to read and study theology and church history. I find the reformation era in church history of special interest as well as the Puritans. Their writings have been a wealth of inspiration and instruction for me. I have also enjoyed reading Jonathan Edwards and Charles Spurgeon.

Alongside reading theology and church history, I am always a sucker for a good biography. Missionary biographies have always been highest on my list and reading about the likes of Adoniram Judson, Hudson Taylor, George Leslie Mackay and Jonathan Goforth has been beyond enriching.

I enjoy travel and find nothing more exhilarating than sharing my faith one on one with strangers I meet every day.

I love the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart and soul and desire to serve Him and only Him for all of my days. He is Supremely Sovereign, Intoxicatingly Intimate, Irresistibly Affectionate, and Omnipotently Overruling!!! I love Him and I love Him and I love Him! I desire that all others would love Him too.
